Wet Panel Carriers
Colin Joyce, Featured Artist and Art Instructor has developped his own unique ‘Wet Panel Carriers’.
Colin: ” I decided to make my own ‘Wet Panel Carriers’ and they work a treat. Artists kept asking me if I made them for others, so here they are. They are functional rather than attractive, not a work of art. That’s what you put inside, isn’t it?
I build carriers for standard imperial sizes of art panels, plus a few double capacity versions for smaller panels. Standard size carriers will take up to 6 panels back to back, whilst the double versions up to 12. This depends on the thickness of the panels you use, maximum for back to back is 4.5mm.
I can make a bespoke size if you don’t see what you need, provided it’s no longer than 14 inches (35 cms) on the longest side. Just get in touch using the contact form on my website with your requirements.
The carriers are ready to go inside your backpack or you can choose to add either a shoulder strap or a handle (the 7 x 5 carrier is too small for a handle). The actual shoulder strap pattern may vary from the images shown.
Your carrier is finished with a woodstain then two coats of varnish to protect it from the elements.
Each carrier is hand made to order, so expect yours to be normally ready in 3 to 4 weeks. Postage and Packing in the U.K. is just £6.50 per carrier and will be added at check-out.
