Tell us a little about yourself
John: “I am an artist living and working in Owo, Ondo State, Nigeria”.

When did you start drawing?
John: ‘I started in 2010’.

What kind of materials do you use?
John: ” I use, Charcoal, Graphite, Acrylic on canvas and paper.”

What subjects do you draw?
John: ” I love to draw the human faces because it tells a lot of untold stories in the human existence, journey, different moods and our reality. To me I feel the our faces communicates a lot with saying a single word.”

Did you study art?
John:” I am a self taught artist.”

Career or Hobby?
John:  “My career in art started as an hobby but as time goes on my interest grew and I decided to make a career out of my hobby.”

Have you exhibited your art work?
John: ” Yes, I was part of  an exhibition at Athens Greece at ATNUMBER GALLERY  2022
I also exhibited my works at the Contemporary art exhibition organized by the German embassy 2022
I exhibited my works also at LA BELLA Art Africa Mexico 2021

What style of art do you create?
John: “Hyper realism.”

Which artists inspire you?
John: “Arinze Stanley”

Fun Fact?
John: ” I’m a graduate of Civil Engineering with an honors but my passion for remains strong as ever.”
