Tell us about yourself
Kieryn: “I am from Sutherland, Sydney, Australia. My art work is just gathering ALOT of attention at the moment and I have been offered thousands for my artworks, but Im not selling yet as I feel like I need to get a name for myself before I just start selling all my stuff. So just need a hand from people that have been in the scene for longer than myself”
When did you start painting?
Kieryn: ” When I was about 4 years old til 20…then stopped and became a graphic designer and started again in January.”
What kind of materials do you use?
Kieryn: “At the moment skateboard decks, airbrush, acrylics and poscas.”
What kind of subjects do you paint?
Kieryn: “Cool shit, imagination, dark arts, lucid dreams, mythology, abandoned places, ghosts, anxiety, calmness – then mixing it all together.”
Did you study art?
Kieryn: ” I am a self taught artist, but went to college for graphic design.”
Is art a hobby or a career?
Kieryn: “I am a full time graphic designer and animator. The art is a side hustle but its gaining so much attention that It could become a full time career.”
Kieryn: “I ride Bmxs with my dog around Newtown and try to take her to every band gig that allows dogs.”
Have you exhibited your art work?
Kieryn: “It hasn’t happened yet because I’ve only started in January. But I have one coming up at a metal festival in July and another on in August and one in December.
Which artists inspire you?
Kieryn: “Paolo Girardi, Jim Phillips, Dan Falconer, Salvador Dali.”
