Can you tell us something about yourself?
Fernando: “My name is Fernando Ferreiro, I live and work in Collado Villalba, Madrid in Spain. I work with pencil on paper, black and white or color.”

When did you start creating art?
Fernando: “When I was a child, I don´t remember exactly.”

What kind of art materials do you use?
Fernando: “Graphite pencils, ink pens and color pencils. Sometimes I can add color with markers combined with pencils.”

What subjects do you draw?
Fernando: “Every kind of people, from homeless to famous actors. Every person who has an interesting face or some charisma.”

Have you studied art?
Fernando: “I have always been self-taught, but I have studied in art schools in Madrid and Florence (Italy).”

Fun Fact?
Fernando: “I love the Spanish omelette!!!”

Have you exhibited your artwork?
Fernando: “Yes, I have exhibited my drawings throughout Spain and also in Germany. I have participated in several collective exhibitions on hyperrealism.”

What is your speciality?
Fernando: “Portrait and wildlife.”

Which artists inspire you?
Fernando: “A lot of them, but Norman Rockwell is God.”
