The president and council of the Royal Institute of Painters in water colours invites all artists who want to paint in water based media to submit paintings on paper for our 211th exhibition, which will be held at the Mall Galleries in London from March until April.

All water based media is eligible with the exception of water based oil paint.

Commarts – Illustration

Animayo 2023 – International Poster Contest
Artists from all over the world are invited to submit their original artwork to Animayo Festival POSTER CONTEST. The winning poster will be used to promote Animayo 2023. The competition is open to anyone aged 16 or over. The works should be unpublished. Poster must be submitted in digital format.

Draper Grand Prize – $50,000 Cash Award! You are invited to enter the 25th annual “The International” portrait competition, showcasing the finest in portraiture and figurative art today. Art Show International Gallery – Still Life
Art show international gallery announces their all new “5th STILL LIFE” International Juried Art Competition. All visual artists from around the world are invited to submit their best artworks on the theme for inclusion in the exhibition. The theme of this international juried art competition is ‘Still Life’. This includes the art of commonplace objects which are either natural, such as food, flowers, plants, rocks, shells, and even dead animals, or man-made ones, such as books, vases, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc. Representational and abstract ideas based broadly on the theme, in any media, will be considered.
Materials
All types of art styles may be submitted, including both 2D and 3D works, painting, sculpture, digital, printmaking, fiber, photography, graphic, mixed media, as well as experimental and installation works.

On PaperThis project promotes the art of printmaking and develop connections between printmakers around the world.
Prizes
The winner of ON PAPER Contest will receive a prize of €1000.
The shortlisted artists will be exhibited in Tinta Invisible, Barcelona (Spain) in July 2023. The winner of the award will be announced at the opening event in Tinta Invisible and via our social media channels.

The Scottish Landscape Awards
The RSMA seeks submissions of painting and sculpture that involve the sea and the marine environment. Anything that involves tidal water. You can enter as an individual artist or a group of artists. Artists of 16 years and older, living or studying in Scotland can join.

The Luxembourg Art Prize
The Luxembourg Art Prize is an annual international artistic prize organized by the Pinacothèque, a private museum located in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Every year the Prize aims to discover talents, amateur or professional, regardless of age and nationality. Since it was created in 2015, the Luxembourg Art Prize aims to launch or boost the careers of artists at the international level by giving them a sound reference to add to their curriculum vitae. Each year, 24 finalists are selected by the museum and 3 laureates are designated by an independent jury.
Materials
The Prize is aimed at artists working in one or more of the following media: drawing, printing, installation, painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, decorative art (textiles and material, glass, wood, metal, ceramics, mosaic, paper or other techniques).

Prizes
The prize money is broken down as follows:
€20,000 for 1st place,
€10,000 for 2nd place, and
€5,000 for 3rd place.
The museum also issues official certificates to acknowledge the artistic achievements of all the participants, even if they are not selected as finalists. This certificate is issued in 9 different languages, providing the artists with international prestige and recognition.
