Art Competition 2022 

The Coloured Pencil Society of America


Entries for an online exhibition now open. Op to all artists of 18 years and older. Entries must be predominantly coloured pencil and include one or more of the following.

Materials
1. Some other medium such as ink, watercolour, pastel, acrylics, etc.
2. Collage
3. Artist-prepared surface
4. A three-dimensional surface
5. Any other technique, surface, or element that is NOT allowed for the CPSA International Exhibition.
Artwork must have been completed on or after January 1, 2020 and must not have appeared in any previous CPSA Explore

Prizes
$2000 for EXPY Best of Show Award; lesser amounts and product awards given to other winners.

Yellow Art Contest


Grey Cube Gallery presents the second Yellow online art contest for the month of November 2022. Artists from around the world are welcome to submit. The theme may include any work with depiction of the colour “Yellow” or shades of Yellow (beige, lemon yellow, canary yellow, golden yellow).


Materials

All visual art mediums (except video and sound) are allowed. All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate. Winning artwork (Best of Show) will be on the poster of the show.

Prizes
All winning artists will receive a digital award certificate.
– Best of Show, first, second and third place will be largely displayed with an article  about the artist and  their work.
– Winning artwork (Best of Show) will be on the poster of the show.
– Depending on the number and quality of all submissions received, Merit awards and Honorable Mention awards may also be presented.

Anthology Cover Art Award

Established to foster and support both established and emerging visual artists and provide a platform for publication, the competition is open to multiple genres.
Works entered must not have appeared on the cover of another publication and not entered simultaneously in any other contest or competition. Works previously exhibited or published on the artist’s website on the interior pages of a book or magazine are accepted. Entries are invited from artists of all nationalities, living anywhere in the world. There is no limit to entries per person.

Work will be accepted on any theme. It is not a requirement, but is advisable to refer to Anthology magazine or purchase a copy before submitting your work, so that work submitted is aligned with the aesthetic of Anthology.

Prizes
€500 cash prize and publication on the cover of – and editorial coverage in – a future Issue of Anthology.

Royal Society of British Artists

The Royal Society of British Artists invites painters, sculptors and printmakers to submit work for the Society’s Annual Exhibition 2023 with a prize fund of over £5,000. This art competition is for UK and international artists. The show will be held in the Mall Galleries in London in March 2023.

Royal Institute of Painters in Water Colours

The president and council of the Royal Institute of Painters in water colours invites all artists who want to paint in water based media to submit paintings on paper for our 211th exhibition, which will be held at the Mall Galleries in London from March until April.

Animayo 2023 – International Poster Contest

Art Show International Gallery – Still Life

Art show international gallery announces their all new “5th STILL LIFE” International Juried Art Competition. All visual artists from around the world are invited to submit their best artworks on the theme for inclusion in the exhibition. The theme of this international juried art competition is ‘Still Life’. This includes the art of commonplace objects which are either natural, such as food, flowers, plants, rocks, shells, and even dead animals, or man-made ones, such as books, vases, jewelry, coins, pipes, etc. Representational and abstract ideas based broadly on the theme, in any media, will be considered.

All types of art styles may be submitted, including both 2D and 3D works, painting, sculpture, digital, printmaking, fiber, photography, graphic, mixed media, as well as experimental and installation works.

On Paper
This project promotes the art of printmaking and develop connections between printmakers around the world.

Prizes
The winner of ON PAPER Contest will receive a prize of €1000.
The shortlisted artists will be exhibited in Tinta Invisible, Barcelona (Spain) in July 2023. The winner of the award will be announced at the opening event in Tinta Invisible and via our social media channels.

Artists can submit one piece of work on a paper size of 300mm x 400mm.

The Scottish Landscape Awards

The RSMA seeks submissions of painting and sculpture that involve the sea and the marine environment. Anything that involves tidal water. You can enter as an individual artist or a group of artists. Artists of 16 years and older, living or studying in Scotland can join.

The Luxembourg Art Prize

The Luxembourg Art Prize is an annual international artistic prize organized by the Pinacothèque, a private museum located in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. Every year the Prize aims to discover talents, amateur or professional, regardless of age and nationality. Since it was created in 2015, the Luxembourg Art Prize aims to launch or boost the careers of artists at the international level by giving them a sound reference to add to their curriculum vitae. Each year, 24 finalists are selected by the museum and 3 laureates are designated by an independent jury.

Materials
The Prize is aimed at artists working in one or more of the following media: drawing, printing, installation, painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media, decorative art (textiles and material, glass, wood, metal, ceramics, mosaic, paper or other techniques).

September 30 – 2023

 Prizes
The prize money is broken down as follows:
€20,000 for 1st place,
€10,000 for 2nd place, and
€5,000 for 3rd place.

The museum also issues official certificates to acknowledge the artistic achievements of all the participants, even if they are not selected as finalists. This certificate is issued in 9 different languages, providing the artists with international prestige and recognition.
