Aarti Patel
Can you tell us a little about yourself?
Aarti: “I am Aarti Patel, an artist based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. I had interest in Arts right from childhood but couldn’t take formal training in it. I have been working with various media in painting and art over the past few years. What started out as a hobby has become a passion for me.”

Aarti: “For the last few years I have mainly focused on watercolor. I regularly work in an outdoor setting, which we artists call “Plein Air”. I like to challenge myself, by working at the spot rather than working in a studio.”
What subjects do you paint?
Aarti:”My watercolor paintings have been on various subjects, but “Heritage” is something that I am always drawn towards, and living in India’s first Heritage city-Ahmedabad is a matter of pride for me.”
